John 14:7 If you really know me (Jesus), you will know my Father also.

Milo scrunched up her nose when Aunty Marge pinched her cheek. Aunty Marge had traveled a long distance to visit the family. Because they lived far apart, Milo didn’t know Aunty Marge very well and she was shy around her. Mom said, “Spend some time with Aunty Marge and you will see how much she cares about you.”

In the same way if we spend time with Jesus, we can get to know who God is and how much he cares about us. Jesus said in the Bible,

“If you really know me, you will know my Father also.”  John 14:7

​

We can get to know God by getting to know Jesus better. We can do this by reading the Bible every day! Milo spent lots of time with Aunty Marge. At the end of her trip, Milo didn’t mind being pinched on the cheek anymore!
