John 14:7 If you really know me, you will know my Father also. From now on, you do know him. And you have seen him.

Every afternoon at camp there is time for free swim at the camp swimming pool. Milo’s friends were trying to get her to jump off the diving board in the deep-end but she wouldn’t go with them. I knew that I could get her to do it. After all, I know Milo! She’s my sister. Has been ever since she was born. We’ve spent a lot of time together and I knew that I could convince her that she could jump off the diving board.

Just like I know Milo, the Bible says that we can know God too! Jesus told his friends that if they knew him, then they knew God. Read John 14:7

We can know God by knowing Jesus. It is easy to know Jesus. There is so much written about him in the Bible. We just need to read God’s Word to get to know the kind of person that Jesus is. Then we can also know who God is. They are one and the same. Jesus himself said so!

I convinced Milo that she could jump off the diving board and swim to the side. I knew she could do it. She’s my sister. I know her well!
