The wisdom we find in the Book of Proverbs tells us that gentle words will turn anger away. This means that gentle words will make anger disappear!
Put this wisdom into practice in your life. The next time someone tries to pick a fight with you by using mean words, respond to them with gentle words! When you use gentle words, it will calm their anger and make it disappear.
Key message - God does not want us to react to people in anger when they are angry or mean to us. He wants us to be gentle with people because he knows that gentleness will turn anger away!
