LET’S START AT THE BEGINNING

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

 

The other day I wanted to create a spaceship out of my Lego® blocks. I knew that I wanted a sleek design so it could go fast, but it still had to have blaster guns mounted on it. I was having such a hard time trying to figure out how to build it. It made me wonder if God had a hard time at the beginning when he began to create the universe.

 

Genesis 1:1 says, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Let’s think about this. He created all of outer space. Planets, moons, stars, light, atmospheres. And he created earth and every natural thing on it. Water, plants, birds, fish, animals and organisms of every kind. Scientists have identified 3 million different species so far with new ones being discovered every day. Oh, and let’s not forget people! God created us too! No. I don’t think God was stumped when he created the heavens and the earth. I think God is the most amazing creator!
