Summer Road Trip!
Day 1

Ephesians 4:2 Don’t be proud at all. Be completely gentle. Be patient. Put up with one another in love.
Dear Journal
We left today for our two-week road trip! This is going to be such an awesome trip. That is if Milo will stop being such a pest.
This morning when we were putting the last of our things in the camper, I couldn’t find my flashlight. I had laid it out on top of my backpack and it was gone. I knew I had put it there. It didn’t just sprout legs and walk away.
I knew there could only be one person behind this. Milo! She took it. I got mad and started to yell for Milo.
Dad stopped me before things went too far and read this Bible verse from Ephesians 4:2
Don’t be proud at all. Be completely gentle. Be patient. Put up with one another in love.
Dad explained that if we were all going to have a fun time over the next two weeks that we would really have to put this Bible verse into practice. He said when people are used to a lot of personal space and then they have to live so close together in a small space they can really get on each other’s nerves.
Milo already stepped on my nerve and we hadn’t even left yet!
I asked God to help me be patient with Milo then I went and nicely asked her if she had my flashlight. She gave it back right away.
And now I am using it to write this down in my travel journal at our first campsite on the trip!
