Psalm 98:8 Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing together with joy.

Today we did a mountain hike. About half-way up the trail, we came to a roaring waterfall! It was so loud I could hardly hear myself think. I think that is what Psalm 98 is talking about.

The pounding of the water when it hit the ground from so far above was like the river was clapping because it was so excited about all the great things that God does!

God made everything we see in nature. I like to think that when we see the rivers or the oceans roar, they are giving praise to God. When we hear the birds chirp or the trees rustle in the wind, they are singing praise to God.

​

Everything God created is meant to bring glory to him, including us! So, I think I am going to join the rivers and the mountains and give praise to God too for all the wonderful things he does!
