Milo was writing a list on a piece of paper. Actually, she was pretending to write a list. Milo didn’t really know how to write yet. But she was thinking about all the good things that God has given her and she wanted to write them down. She was thinking about how God had helped them get a camper, and about the yummy food they had to eat. She was thinking about all her cousins that she loved and her dog Posey. And most of all, she was thinking about how Jesus died for her on the cross to take the punishment for our sins.

God has done so many good things for us. He deserves our praise and thankfulness!

 

The Bible says in Matthew 22:37 ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

 

God should be the first and last thing on our minds every day. We should always remember to say “thank you” to him for all the good things he has done for us. Maybe you can write a list of all the good things God has done for you and say “thanks” to God for them!
