John 14:16 I will ask the Father. And he will give you another friend to help you and to be with you forever.

Today was the day of the bike parade at camp! All the campers were to decorate their bikes and ride around the camp in parade style. Milo was nervous. She had only recently had the training wheels taken off of her bicycle. She was worried that with all those bikes riding so close together that she might bump into someone and fall off.

​

Milo shared her concern with one of the camp counsellors. The counsellor reminded Milo of the Bible Memory Verse of the day from John 14:16.

I will ask the Father. And he will give you another friend to help you and to be with you forever. 

​

It doesn’t matter how big or how small the problem may be, God’s Spirit is there to help us! He is our friend and when we accept Jesus as our Savior, he comes to live inside us. That means that he is always with us and always ready to help us with whatever our challenges may be.

The counsellor and Milo prayed together for Milo to be brave and to ride confidently. That afternoon, Milo rode her bike safely through the camp bike parade. The Holy Spirit also helped her remember her Bible Memory Verse for the day so she could earn her badge!
