Psalm 98:8 Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing together with joy.

Dear Journal,

​

Today we went hiking in the mountains. It was hard. We did a lot of climbing. It was worth it though. We hiked up to a mountain lake. We went swimming. The water was so cold! Then we had lunch on the shore.

​

There was also so many birds chirping in the treetops. It was like a church choir singing praises to God. It reminded me of the Bible verse I read in the morning before the hike from Psalm 98:8.

 

Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing together with joy.

​

God created everything we see in the natural world. Everything that God created lives in harmony together. It is like all of creation is making beautiful music to sing praise to God.

​

I love being in nature. I always feel like God is there with me. I think today’s hike is my favorite part of our road trip so far!
