Did you know that God’s Word is like a shrink ray? Actually, it is like a disappearing ray, if there was such a thing! Let me show you what I mean.

​

Let’s suppose you are afraid of the dark. You can take your shrink ray, that is God’s Word, and blast that fear.

​

2 Timothy 1:7 says “God gave us his Spirit. And the Spirit doesn’t make us weak and fearful. Instead, the Spirit gives us power and love. He helps us control ourselves.”.

When I feel afraid of the dark I can read this verse in the Bible and say it out loud. When I do that it is like I am blasting that fear with a shrink ray. The fear gets smaller. If I blast that fear with God’s Word every time I feel afraid, it will eventually disappear and I won’t be afraid of the dark anymore! I know this works because I’ve tried it!
